川普就職，並高舉國家主義大旗，投資人擔心保護主義貿易政策興起，搶買避險資產。周一金價上揚、美元走弱。

《路透》報導，亞洲周一早盤現貨黃金上漲 0.5%，報每盎司 1215.30 美元，美國黃金期貨上漲 0.9%，報每盎司 1215.10 美元。美元指數下跌 0.2%，報 100.54。

美國就業數、房市及工業數據表現優於預期，表明美國經濟已經足夠強勁，足以支撐升息。美國 Fed 費城分行總裁 Patrick Harker 則在上周五表示，如果勞動力市場進一步改善，通膨上升至 2% 目標，預計 2017 年將會升息 3 次。

雖然有升息威脅，不過黃金照漲不誤。整體貴金屬獲得近 5 個月來最大的資金流入，同樣，上周債券基金則出現連 4 周的上漲。在去年 11 月底的「川普行情」之後，投資人如今押注經濟增長強勁及通膨上升。

據最新 CFTC 持倉報告，至 1 月 17 日當周，避險基金及基金經理人連續 2 周增加 COMEX 黃金淨多頭部位。不過印度的黃金需求放緩，主要是預期將有關稅下降，因此延遲購買。

俄羅斯央行 12 月沒有增持黃金儲備，為 2015 年年初以來首次，先前俄羅斯央行可稱最堅定的黃金多頭，每個月持續增加黃金儲備。
